• Mission & Purpose
We represent U.S. veterans living in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean, working to ensure no veteran stands alone. Our mission is to provide advocacy, health and wellness outreach, and support services for veterans living overseas.

  • Veteran Community Impact
With more than 10,200 U.S. veterans residing in the Dominican Republic, our network works to engage every veteran on the island, including Vietnam-era veterans who may lack access to digital tools or modern systems.

  • Services & Support
We assist veterans with disability claim education, health and wellness checks, benefits navigation, and in-person outreach. Our focus is on direct, human-centered support for veterans who face barriers to accessing VA services abroad.

  • Foreign Medical Program (FMP) Concerns
Recent investigations have revealed significant vulnerabilities in the VA Foreign Medical Program, including fraud, waste, and abuse. These weaknesses threaten both veterans’ care and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

  • Government Accountability Findings
A Government Accountability Office report identified fraudulent FMP claims involving double billing, inflated costs, unnecessary services, and services not rendered, resulting in an estimated $67 million loss to American taxpayers.

  • Risk Areas Identified
Countries with rapid increases in FMP payments, mismatched billing addresses, duplicate claims, and payments routed through U.S. post office boxes require immediate scrutiny to prevent further misuse of federal resources.

  • Policy Alignment
Our priorities align with congressional and oversight efforts to eliminate government waste, improve transparency, and ensure VA resources directly support veterans, caregivers, and survivors living overseas.

  • Proposed Collaboration
We offer boots-on-the-ground support to assist with provider reviews, reporting, audits, and veteran outreach in the Caribbean and Panama, complementing VA oversight efforts through local, real-time engagement.

  • Congressional & Advocacy Engagement
We seek to work under congressional guidance to strengthen oversight, protect veterans abroad, and enhance accountability within the Foreign Medical Program through coordinated public-private collaboration.

  • Leadership & Strategic Expertise
Our work benefits from collaboration with experienced veteran advocates and policy leaders with deep backgrounds in congressional relations, federal agencies, workforce transition, education, and veteran economic well-being.

  • Call to Action
We welcome discussions with policymakers, veteran organizations, and oversight partners to explore collaborative solutions that safeguard veterans, strengthen accountability, and protect taxpayer resources.
